The First Veg Plants

The first vegetable plants have arrived. We have a healthy selection of brassicas, leeks, lettuce and onions.  The plant area is now beginning to gently  fill up with lots of polyanthus, primroses, flowering bulbs and perennial plants. St Patricks Day

St Patricks day is this Sunday 17th March. We have a small corner of Ireland on our deli counter this week. Clonakilty black puddings and white puddings. Irish cheeses: Cooleeney (a brie / camembert type), Cashel Blue ( a soft blue) and Cahill Porter ( a cheddar with Guinness). read more

Strawberry Planting

This week we have been planting the first strawberries of the year. Hopefully they will be ready for sale in the shop early May. Photo shows Richard Lickorish and Thomas Lea enjoying their work. Thomas is the one welded to the headphones. read more

Cobblers Nibble

This Saturday Hamm Tun Fine Foods are coming in to do a taster session to showcase their award winning cheeses. Come and try the locally made Cobblers Nibble and Northampton Blue as seen on Countryfile. Gary will be here from 10am – 2pm, a must for all cheese lovers. read more
