There’s even more to pick in our Pick Your Own fields this summer!
After a short broad bean season, we now have more pick your own vegetables available!
Now ready and available in our pick your own: courgettes, marrows and squash.
Runner beans will be following shortly, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that our sweetcorn will be ready later in the season too.
As many of you will know, it’s been an exceptionally hot and dry year, which has made growing conditions challenging. We have a few patches of sweetcorn that are still growing well, and we’re hopeful they’ll make it through for you to enjoy.
Alongside our vegetables, there’s still plenty of seasonal fruit and flowers waiting to be picked, including:
Sunflowers
We also have a couple more patches of sunflowers still to come into bloom, bringing even more colour to the fields over the coming weeks.
Make a day of your visit and refresh afterwards at our onsite café, with its own children’s play area and tractor shed, before browsing our farm shop and plant area for more local produce, plants and seasonal favourites.
