Pyo Terms & Conditions

We want everyone to enjoy their time in our PYO. To keep it fair for all visitors and to protect our crops, this is how it operates:

Entry Deposit – Time Limit 

This year the entry deposit is linked to the time you stay in the field.

If you have finished picking and are at the checkout within

**1 hour**of your arrival time, the deposit will be deducted from any

fruit picked.

Those staying longer will pay full price for any produce picked and the deposit

will not be refunded.

 **The time limit**will vary across the season and depend on the number of crops

available to pick. Initially it will be set at 1 hour as we will have fewer crops to pick.

Those wishing to pick large quantities of fruit will be given special dispensation as will people with mobility issues.

Entry is £4 per person.

Everyone entering the picking area must pay, except babies and toddlers under 2, who go free. Please do not include them on the booking form.

Before booking, please take note of the weather forecast. If it looks like rain and you don’t like the wet, don’t book. The pyo will be open come rain or shine and you will not get a refund for wet weather. Our strawberries are undercover and protected from the rain, but other crops are not.

Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. We cannot change your visit date after you book, and no-shows will not be refunded.

The pick your own will close 1 hour after the last booking of the day.  All customers are expected to have left the picking field by this time.

🧺 Picking & Paying

• Pick what you would like within your time slot.
• Any produce picked above the value of your entry fee will be charged at the prices displayed on the pick your own page.
• All produce picked must be paid for.
• The entry fee can only be reimbursed against produce picked in the picking field.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families

Please supervise children carefully and choose containers that suit your budget. If you don’t want it, please don’t pick it.

⏰ Please leave the field and pay before your time slot ends. Your entry fee is a deposit against the produce you pick and will be deducted from your total if you leave on time.

The entry fee can only be redeemed against produce picked in the picking field.

If you stay later than your timeslot, you will be charged full price for all produce picked with no deduction for entry.

🚫 A Few Important Rules

• No picnics in the picking fields.
• No dogs in the picking areas.
• The entry fee is not a licence to eat. A small taste is fine, but please don’t abuse this.
• Please do not leave litter in the field.
