Wilf with Amber Lea

Wilf the sheep and a few of his friends will be at our craft fair this Saturday afternoon.  Friendly and partial to the odd selfie, Wilf will be only to happy to see you.

To meet Wilf and have your picture taken with him, will require a £2 donation to the events charity, The Farming Community Network.
Anyone making the £2 donation will be given the chance to guess Wilf’s weight and win a £25 Malt Kiln Farm Shop voucher (closest guess will win).  Please note you will not be able to go in the pen with Wilf.
Like the rest of the sheep on our farm, Wilf is an Easy Care sheep.  A cross between the Wiltshire Horn and a Welsh Mountain sheep.  The result is a sheep that is hardy and naturally sheds its wool.

Strawberries

The pick your own is still a little way off, but we do now have the first of our strawberries in the farm shop. Quantities are still limited, but with warmer weather in the offing, that should change soon.
