Photo shows Chris Lea delivering our pork pie to Coombe Abbey Hotel. The hotel wanted to source a high-quality, Warwickshire-made, pork pie to help launch its new Knight’s Afternoon Tea – and found our pie fitted the bill. Fraser Doyne-Ditmas, Operations Manager at Coombe Abbey Hotel, said the hotel was keen to work closely with local suppliers.
“The partnership with the Malt Kiln Farm shop has been very successful as it enables us to work with a neighbouring business, which provides us with a quality, handmade product that fits perfectly with all the other items in our Knight’s Afternoon Tea.
“Since we launched it in April, we can’t believe how popular it has become.
“It’s been the best-selling addition ever to our menu and at its current rate of sales will be competing to take over as the afternoon menu’s top item.”
