Craft beer for Christmas? Or cider, wine, gin or whisky, we have a wide selection of locally brewed and distilled drinks available to treat your nearest and dearest.

A lot of local brewers have found this year particularly tough and your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Napton Cidery made their first batch of cider as most do – from the apple tree in their garden. Thrilled by the result Napton Cidery was born the very next year, with the sole mission to collect unwanted apples from the village/surrounding orchards and make something wonderful.

Other local cider suppliers include:

Hogan’s Cider, Alcester, Warwickshire who also make a very good Perry.

Vale of Welton Cider, Daventry, Northamptonshire makers of Black Jetty and Poachers cider.

Henney’s Cider, Ledbury, Herefordshire who make England’s Pride a medium sweet cider.

Celtic Marches, Bishops Frome, Worcester make Slack Alice, Lily the Pink and Thundering Molly. Which are also available in a presentation box.

We do also sell Healey’s cider which is a bit further a field at Truro, Cornwall. Famous for their Rattler cider, which is too good not to sell.

Cracking Beers!

Recent additions to our local beer selection include the Windmill Hill Brewing Co. at Radford Semele, Warwickshire and make a range of bottled beers including Pump Room Porter, Amber Post and Chesterton Pale Ale. We are also selling one of their beers in a Christmas Cracker.

Also new the Silverstone Real Ale Brewery, Northamptonshire who make the appropriately named Chequered Flag, Pit stop and Ignition. Look out for their wooden presentation box it makes a rather fancy present.

The Warwickshire Beer Co. is based at Cubbington near Leamington Spa and make Lady Godiva, Shakespeares County and Kingmaker. We also sell attractive presentation packs from all three of these brewers which make an ideal festive treat for any beer drinker.

Other local brewers include the Purity Brewery, Alcester, Warwickshire who make Ubu and Mad Goose. This year they also have some rather nice gift boxes that we are selling with a Purity glass.

Byatts Brewery, Coventry who make a wide range of beers of which Coventry Bitter is a best seller.

Hook Norton Brewery, Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Get into the spirit!

With Christmas just around the corner we have a special offer for the gin lovers. We have a limited supply of gin glasses from the Cotswold Distillery and Warners which we are giving away with every 70cl bottle purchased whilst stocks last. The Cotswold Distillery also make a very popular whisky.

We sell a wide range of speciality gins in various bottle sizes from 70cl to the 5cl minis. The minis are ideal if you just want a taster before you buy a larger bottle or if you are making up a Christmas hamper.

Other local suppliers include:

Two Bird’s flavoured vodkas and gins literally fly off the shelf. Made in nearby Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

The Chase Distillery make the vodka base for their spirits from potatoes grown on their farm. Their Elegant Gin is excellent and they also make an exceedingly good Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo Gin.

The Sweet Potato Spirit Company whose products as the name implies are made from the distillation of sweet potatoes make a delicious range of gins and liqueurs they also make a rum.

Add the Sparkle!

If you are in need of a little sparkle Christmas morning, then Bearley vineyard at Stratford upon Avon make a range of award winning English wines that includes a superb sparkling white.

Cheers, don’t over do it, but lets raise a glass to happier times.
