Great British Beef Week

 28th April 2026

From our fields to your plate

At our farm shop, we’re proud to offer beef that’s been reared right here – from our own fields to our butchery counter.

Our cattle are pasture raised in the Warwickshire countryside, right on the Warwickshire – Leicestershire border, within just 5 miles of the shop in Stretton Under Fosse. Part of a traditional suckler herd, they’re reared slowly and naturally, grazing on grass and cared for to the highest welfare standards. It’s a system that puts the animal first and you can taste the difference.

Great British Beef Week is a celebration of exactly that. It shines a light on British farmers who are committed to producing high quality and high welfare beef.

When you choose our beef, you’re not just buying a cut of meat you’re: supporting local farming, sustainable practices, and a food system built on care, time and trust.

Our butchery team are always on hand to help you choose the right cut and offer cooking advice, so you can make the most of every piece.

Whether it’s a slow cooked joint, a midweek steak, or something for the BBQ, this week is a great reminder of why British beef and buying local really matters.
