Last Christmas Orders

The deadline for ordering Christmas Poultry is fast approaching. The cut off this year is 6pm, Monday 16th December.

The bronze turkeys we sell are locally reared to the highest welfare standards in Warwickshire and live a long, happy and healthy life. This allows them to mature slowly producing the ideal bird to provide a delicious Christmas meal with a distinctive taste and texture.

Using traditional breeds, grown to full maturity on a natural diet containing whole grain cereals but no growth promoting additives. The birds are free range with access to 10 acres of pasture and can glean the hedgerows for berries, seeds and bugs.

16 different strains of turkey are used to enable all the turkeys to mature by Christmas. The small ones are the same age as the large ones ensuring that all birds have dense meat and good fat cover so when cooked will provide a meat with good old fashioned flavour.

Our Christmas order form provides a wide range of options to make Christmas dinner special. Leg of pork, leg of lamb or rib of beef all from livestock reared on our family run farm, offer sumptuous alternatives to the traditional bird.

This year we have updated the form to include some of the trimmings such as pigs in blankets and streaky bacon. You can also order the pork pie we make at the farm shop using our own pork.
