The bedding plant season is now in full swing. With the danger of frost now over, the time for planting summer bedding is upon us. We have an excellent selection of summer bedding to brighten borders and containers from bedding begonias and marigolds to bizzy lizzies and petunias. If annual bedding plants are not for you we also have a wide range of traditional cottage garden plants which include perennial favourites such as lupins, delphiniums, salvias, foxgloves and many more. If you are going for the cottage garden feel we also have a very good selection of roses from hybrid tea to ramblers.

Growing your own vegetables, then we provide the option of a simple packet of seeds or a wide range of vegetable transplants. These include a variety of brassicas: cauli, broccoli, cabbage, purple sprouting, swede & Brussel sprouts.

It should now be safe to plant out tender vegetable plants such as tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumbers, courgettes and runner beans.

Enrich the vegetable plot with some farm yard manure, this will not only provide nutrients for the growing plants but help the soil retain moisture. We also sell a full range of compost from multipurpose through all the various types of John Innes to ericaceous.
