Tucked out of the way and out of sight in the storage area of the farm shop is a small room where all manner of goodies are created for sale on our deli counter.  Two ladies, Jan & Emma Kendrick beaver away making these treats, using fresh local ingredients and seasonal produce from the farm shop.

The sausage rolls to go, sold at the tills are made here using the Gloucester Old Spot pork reared on our family farm.  The same sausage rolls are also available in packs of three, frozen and ready to cook at home.  Keeping them company now, in the freezer section, is a vegetarian version.

They make a variety of quiches from plain tomato through to caramelised red onion & goats cheese. They even do some pastry free, suitable for those with a gluten intolerance.

If you ever need a large quiche for a party or family gathering the team will happily oblige. Simply order at the deli counter, email or call a couple of days in advance and arrange to collect on the day of your choosing.

The home made lasagne and steak pies contain our beef. These are sold by the portion from the deli counter but are also available to order.  Why not bring in your own pie dish at the time of ordering?  We won’t let on you haven’t cooked it yourself!

The coleslaws, pasta salad and potato salad are all made by Jan & Emma. The plastic pots we sell them in are all recyclable or reusable. Why not reuse them next time you are in or bring your own container? The deli team are happy to tare the weight of your container and then fill it up with whatever coleslaw or salad you require.

Our pork pie, naturally made, using our Gloucester Old Spot pork and to a traditional recipe.  You can actually see the chunks of pork when you cut in to it.

Other items made by our busy production team, available frozen include Yorkshire puddings, meat pies, a selection of  scones and a wide variety of tasty soups.
