The pick your own is now open, however we are not open every day. Please check the pick your own page before visiting to avoid disappointment.
The season is now progressing nicely and this week we are able to add four more crops to the pick: Raspberries, Blackberries, Blackcurrants and Broad Beans.
We still also have an excellent pick of strawberries, gooseberries and rhubarb.
For the week commencing Monday 27th June we will be closed on the Monday but will be open Tuesday 28th through to Sunday 3rd July.
Like last year we are operating a booking system. This helps manage numbers of customers which in turn improves the picking experience and crop quality.
We do not take advanced bookings because the pyo is very weather dependent and will not be open every day.Our aim is to have a succession of strawberry crops, by using different varieties and planting times. This hopefully provides fruit to pick from mid June through to early September. It doesn’t always work and occasionally during this time we have gaps in availability.
