PYO Raspberries – Now Ready!
The wait is over – our delicious Pick Your Own raspberries are ripe and ready! You’ll find some beautifully big juicy berries waiting in the field.
Planning Your Visit
Before visiting, please check our [Pick Your Own page] for current availability. We only release booking slots a few days in advance to make sure we have the best-quality fruit ready for you.
• We provide containers for picking, but you’re welcome to bring your own. If you do, please have them weighed when you arrive.
• Walk-ins are welcome if there is availability at the time of your arrival. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend booking ahead.
What to Expect
• Come prepared for the weather.
On warm, sunny days, we recommend hats and applying sunscreen before entering the fields (that’s one less thing to carry; raspberries can be surprisingly heavy!).
• Raspberries are grown outdoors.
Unlike most of our strawberries, which are in polytunnels, the raspberry rows are fully open to the elements. If it’s wet, be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
• Access & Terrain:
The ground is mostly flat and accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. However, the fields are on a gentle slope, so keep this in mind when planning how far you’d like to go.
After Picking
Once you’ve finished picking and are ready for a break, head to our onsite independently run café, Rebecca’s Kitchen. Whether it’s a slice of cake to hit the spot or something more substantial for lunch, their seasonal summer menu has something for everyone.
You can even book an afternoon tea to enjoy before or after your picking session, a lovely way to round off your visit.
