Our butchers have been busy!
They have created a sausage for every one of the Six Nations.
This weeks debut was Justine’s IRN BRU sausage in honour of the Scotland team. Citrusy with a touch of ginger just like the drink.
For the traditionalist’s George has rustled up a Lorne Sausage.

Wales: The Welsh dragon a chilli and leek sausage
Ireland: The Guinness Sausage
England: Old English sausage with onion and herbs
Italy: The Sicilian a blend of oregano, thyme, basil and fennel
France: The Toulouse a wine, thyme, garlic and marjoram sausage
All our sausages are hand made on our butchery counter using pork reared on our family farm or Packington Free Range Pork.
Last weekend the Scot’s got the better of England on both the pitch and the counter.

2023 marks the 200th anniversary of the game of rugby; 200 years since William Webb Ellis took the ball in his arms and ran with it on The Close at Rugby School in 1823.
