This year, the unusually long hot spell has brought our early strawberry varieties on much quicker than usual. Instead of the expected staggered ripening we aim for across the season, we’ve had a lot of strawberries all at once. and now we’re in a short gap as we wait for our later varieties to come on.
During this time, strawberries will be limited and there may be a few days when they’re not available for picking. But rest assured, more are on the way!
Before booking please make sure to read the strawberry availability for that day.
In the meantime, there’s still plenty to enjoy on the farm:
Raspberries
Red Gooseberries
Rhubarb
Blackcurrants
Blackberries- first few
Crops still to come this season include:
Sweetcorn
Sunflowers
Courgettes, Marrows & Squash
Runner Beans
Thanks for bearing with us, the strawberries will be back very soon, for now our raspberries are having their moment!
You can still purchase our fresh ready picked strawberries in the shop.
