The pick your own is now open but not every day. Please check the pick your own page before visiting to avoid disappointment. We are now picking strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb, runner beans, marrows, squash, courgettes, sweet corn and sunflowers.
Once again we will be operating a booking system. This helps manage numbers of customers which in turn improves the picking experience and crop quality.
We do not take bookings for more than a few days ahead, because the pyo is very weather dependent and will not be open every day.
Our aim is to have a succession of strawberry crops, by using different varieties and planting times. This hopefully provides fruit to pick from mid June through to early September. It doesn’t always work and occasionally during this time we have gaps in availability.
