Deli Counter

Local Cheeses

We highlight local cheeses on our deli count with a red label

We sell an extensive range of local cheese.  As we are based in Warwickshire the counter stocks many cheeses made in Warwickshire  and the counties that immediately border. Cheeses with a red label are those designated as a local cheese to the farm shop and feature mature Warwickshire, Sparkenhoe Red Leicester, Berkswell, Cobblers Nibble and many more.

Aside from these very local cheeses you will find all the major territorial cheeses on display on our deli counter.  Including Wensleydale from Hawes, Lincolnshire Poacher, Shropshire Blue and Cornish Yarg.

All these British cheeses are supplemented by  some of the best continental cheeses available, such as Brie de Meaux, Le Cret Gruyere, Roquefort and Taleggio.

Celebratory Cake

A cake made for a customers fiftieth

Whether you prefer cow, ewe, goat or even buffalo milk cheese, pasteurised or unpasteurised, vegetable rennet or animal rennet, a blue, a cheddar, a brie or a Wensleydale with cranberries we have all of these options on the counter.

In recent years demand for celebration cheese cakes has increased. Be it a wedding, for Christmas or a birthday party we can help. Our deli team are there to advise and can source cheeses in various shapes and sizes to make the cake of your choice and budget.

Lasagne

On the counter you will also find a wide selection of locally cooked meats including beef from our farm and continental charcuterie and more unusual items like Clonakilty Black Puddings, Haslet or Kassler.

We make a large variety of ready to eat produce in our kitchen that is sold from the deli counter.  Our pork pies, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and sausage plaits are made using pork reared on our farm.  The lasagne and steak pies again use beef reared on our family farm.

Quiche

We make a wide selection of quiches

Coleslaw

Coleslaw is particularly popular in summer

The quiches are available with or without pastry depending on dietary needs and in various sizes and flavours from plain tomato to the more exotic goats cheese and caramelised onion. The coleslaws and salads are served in recyclable pots of varying sizes and like all the things we make available to order in larger quantities.
