Pyo Update 27/05/2022

If the recent sunshine has you thinking of summer days eating strawberries and cream, our own homegrown strawberries are now in the farm shop.
Grown less than a 100m from the farm shop you can’t get more local than that.
We estimate Our Pick Your Own Strawberries will be ready in two to three weeks, probably around the 18th June.   Once again we will be operating a booking system.  This helps manage numbers of customers which in turn improves the picking experience and crop quality.
The first time slots will be released a few days before we open.  Watch this space for more information or follow us on facebook and instagram.
We do not take advanced bookings because the pyo is very weather dependent and will not be open every day.
Our aim is to have a succession of strawberry crops, by using different varieties and planting times. This hopefully provides fruit to pick from mid June through to early September. It doesn’t always work and occasionally during this time we have gaps in availability.
The booking system will go live from the pick your own page on the website when we are ready to open.

The first crops that we will have available to pick will be strawberries, gooseberries and rhubarb.
